Victor K. Hernandez, Founder and Managing Partner of NewEra Wealth, brings exceptional experience from his two-decade tenure at J.P. Morgan, where he became a Managing Director by the age of 40. At J.P. Morgan, Victor held senior roles in both the Private Bank—working with some of the world’s wealthiest families and the most complex balance sheets—and in J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, where he directly managed investments for clients. He co-led a top-ranked team responsible for managing over $1.2 billion in client assets and earned the elite designation of “Wealth Partner.”

With two decades of experience in financial services, Victor delivers investment management, corporate cash management, capital markets, wealth & estate planning, and custom lending & liability management strategies.
In 2005, Victor began his career in New York City with J.P. Morgan Private Bank as an Analyst covering international ultra-high-net-worth clients. He moved to HSBC as an Investment Officer to provide recommendations and strategies for clients in Central America. After three years, Victor returned to J.P. Morgan Private Bank and led a team of specialists to service the complex needs of entrepreneurs and executives in South Florida.

Victor is a graduate of Bentley University, where he earned his B.S. in Finance and a minor in International Business. He holds an International MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. He is fluent in Spanish.

Victor credits his father with instilling in him a love of finance and for teaching him the value of integrity and perseverance. Victor is married and has two children, Nicolas (13) and Emma (7).
